BuyRanked Tech exists for one reason: to help tech buyers cut through gadget hype. Consumer tech is expensive, the marketing is loud, and most "top 10" lists are just whoever paid the most for placement. We do it differently.

How we rank products

Our rankings are built from desk research, not sponsored placements:

• Manufacturer specifications — verified against official product pages, not marketing summaries.
• Tech publications — buying guides and reviews from established tech media.
• Buyer reviews — aggregated sentiment from retailer reviews and tech communities like r/headphones and r/ereader, where real buyers are blunt about what disappointed them.

We don't claim to have personally tested every product. When we cite performance claims, we attribute them to their source. When review sentiment is mixed, we say so — you'll see honest cons on every product we rank.

How we make money
